The Cambridge Journal of Regions, Economy and Society will be running its fourth conference, ‘Globalisation in Crisis? The Urban and Regional Challenges of the Great Instability’ on 13-14 July 2017.
As well as being a chance to hear about the latest findings of the City Evolutions research project, this conference will offer the chance to discuss and debate a new model of economic growth that is more balanced, sustainable and inclusive.
The themes and session topics for the conference will include:
- Inequality
- Corporate monopolies
- Financialization
- State and governance
- Brexit and trade

Call for papers
Alongside the conference, there will be a special issue of the Cambridge Journal of Regions, Economy and Society. Authors are invited to submit an Abstract by 20th April.
